Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Ventilation Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for educating, training, and monitoring patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, home oxygen, and other respiratory equipment. Your clinical expertise will enable you to assess patient needs and communicate your findings to physicians, ensuring patients receive quality care specific to their medical condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a complete listing of current respiratory patients
• Provide initial and ongoing phone contacts with respiratory patients per Rotech policy and procedure
• Conduct in-home visits to patients per Rotech's policy and procedure
• Perform patient assessments per Rotech's policy and procedure and physician's orders
• Set up highly technical respiratory equipment, including invasive and non-invasive ventilators, infant monitors, and other high-tech respiratory equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) preferred
• Licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
