GI Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled GI Technician to join our team at Duly Health and Care. As a GI Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our endoscopic suite, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Under general supervision, perform work related to the care and treatment of patients in the GI room.
• Assure availability of instrumentation and supplies required for surgical procedures prior to the case.
• Participate in GI room setup, turnover, cleaning, and restocking.
• Maintain sterile technique in opening of surgical supplies and instrumentation.
• Clean, prepare, and decontaminate GI scopes and equipment.
• Provide aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
• Observe, recognize, and anticipate common surgical complications, and assist with emergency care as needed.
• Report unusual conditions to the RN.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• BCLS Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Endoscopic Suite
