Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance member satisfaction and retention.
- Drive membership sales initiatives.
- Facilitate the integration of personal training during facility tours.
- Ensure adherence to proper procedures by the Personal Training team.
- Oversee the completion of opening/closing checklists, maintenance logs, and cleaning protocols.
- Manage inventory levels of supplies.
- Monitor flagged check-ins to optimize revenue and collections.
Essential Qualifications:
A proven history of success in sales is required. Experience in the fitness sector is advantageous but not mandatory. We seek individuals who can adhere to our established sales system. Those who thrive in our company culture are team players and collaborative individuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing and expanding a member base.
- Ability to drive sales both personally and through team support.
- Strong communication, time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for creating a positive first impression of the Maxx Fitness facility. A passion for the fitness industry and a desire to lead staff are essential for this role, with opportunities for advancement to a managerial position.
This individual must be goal-oriented and capable of motivating a team to foster a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Engage with customers both over the phone and in person to provide information about memberships and services.
- Ensure appropriate resolutions are made to customer issues.
- Complete membership documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to customer inquiries proactively.
Maintaining a clean and inviting facility is crucial; building rapport with customers can lead to increased sales of memberships and additional services.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work 45 hours per week.
- Willingness to work during specified hours.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in face-to-face retail customer service is preferred.
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
