Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage tasks and schedules based on estimated labor hours, complete service reports, and adhere to directives from supervisors, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Install residential heating and air conditioning systems, including boilers, hot water tanks, exhaust systems, and furnaces.
  • Conduct installation of ductwork, furnaces, air conditioning units, and gas piping.
  • Perform installations for rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, mini-splits, duct fittings, and necessary wiring for both indoor and outdoor equipment.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of tools and resources.
  • Supervise an Apprentice Installer, ensuring high standards of customer service and safety on-site.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with relevant standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in low voltage electrical wiring schematics and blueprint interpretation.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
  • Possess necessary hand tools.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment installation, ductwork, sheet metal, and piping (including brazing and sweating).
  • Familiarity with sheet metal and capability to perform equipment replacements.
  • Journeyman Installer status is welcomed but not mandatory.
  • Universal EPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with the installation of RTUs and central air conditioning systems.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
