Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Carry out tasks that require physical effort, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and machinery.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with colleagues to ensure seamless handovers and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Display advanced knowledge of engineering computer programs and systems.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers as needed.
  • Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
