Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide overnight support to our clients in the Nitro area. As a caregiver with A Special Touch In-Home Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Remind clients to take their prescribed medication and assist with mobility around the house or outside
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including showering and bathing
  • Plan and prepare meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences
  • Complete household chores, including laundry and cleaning
  • Report any unusual incidents or emergencies to our team and take prompt action to ensure client safety
  • Engage clients in activities that promote daily living, such as serving meals and assisting with daily tasks
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to provide compassionate and supportive care to clients
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
