Radiologic Technologist

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a Fluoroscopy Specialist role. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures with a focus on quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Procedure Performance: Conduct a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, with a focus on quality patient care and safety.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document patient information, exam details, and imaging results in our electronic medical record system.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide pre- and post-procedure education and reassurance to patients, ensuring they understand the procedure, its duration, and any necessary instructions.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Verify patient identification, pregnancy status, and implement sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess current certifications as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and a Fluoroscopy Permit from the California Department of Public Health.
- Education and Experience: Satisfactory completion of a formal training program in an AMA-approved school and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in diagnostic imaging.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in imaging equipment, knowledge of universal precautions, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
