Your Role: As a Lead Security Solutions Architect at Elastic, you will act as a technical expert and trusted consultant for our sales teams, clients, partners, and the broader community. Your role will involve addressing customer business challenges with the Elastic Stack, engaging with the regional Elastic community through various initiatives, and facilitating sales through our partner network. A successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, continuously seeking personal and team improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical authority on security solutions, providing insights into the advantages and limitations of various SIEM technologies.
  • Engage with clients to understand their existing technology investments and how they can be optimized with Elastic solutions.
  • Analyze data sources to drive use cases and success metrics related to security and compliance.
  • Integrate security solutions with SIEM and logging platforms effectively.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot solutions on Linux-based network appliances.
  • Utilize knowledge of Windows Authentication, Active Directory, and LDAP.
  • Leverage expertise in Behavioral Analytics and Machine Learning to enhance incident response processes.
  • Discuss the value of cloud, SaaS, and hybrid architectures in security contexts.
  • Utilize scripting and programming skills for integrations with third-party solutions.

Experience Required:

  • Over 10 years of experience in network and security engineering.
  • Deep understanding of the current threat landscape and organizational challenges.
  • Familiarity with Red and Blue Team methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in network and security forensic analysis is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network analysis, and security operations.
  • Background in SOC operations.

Sales and Engagement Skills:

  • Identify and qualify technical opportunities independently.
  • Apply consultative selling principles to engage effectively with prospects.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to develop actionable engagement plans.
  • Understand the roles within security teams and the impact of technology investment decisions.
  • Influence sales strategies and assess opportunity viability.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Relevant degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC are advantageous.
