The Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS) is a prestigious teaching hospital and regional referral center, serving over 170,000 veterans in eight counties. We pride ourselves on providing world-class medical care, cutting-edge research, and innovative education programs.

Your Role:

  • As a full-time Physician, you will be responsible for conducting thorough physiatry examinations, ordering and performing medically indicated services, and developing personalized treatment plans for our veteran patients.
  • You will also participate in an inpatient physiatry consultation service and outpatient general physiatry clinic, collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required, along with a strong commitment to continuing education and professional growth.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $250,000 - $275,000 per year, with annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases.
  • Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual paid time off per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, and 11 paid Federal holidays.
  • Traditional federal pension and federal 401K with up to 5% contributions by VA.
  • Malpractice liability protection with tail coverage provided.
  • No significant restrictions on moonlighting.
