We are currently in search of a Roadway Engineer to enhance our Midwest Transportation team. This position may be remote for the right candidate, although prior experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct roadway design for ODOT projects, including intersection enhancements, roundabouts, roadway expansions, and rehabilitation.
  • Develop project scopes and budgets.
  • Establish and nurture client relationships to secure new business opportunities.
  • Oversee plan reviews and project management for clients.
  • Organize activities, schedules, and reporting to support assigned projects.
  • Travel as necessary for project requirements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

Preferred qualifications include experience in:

  • Roadway design for ODOT projects utilizing ORD.
  • ODOT plan development.
  • Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) design.
  • Drainage design.
  • Roundabout design.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio.
