Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our rehabilitation team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Patient-Centered Care
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
    • Provide basic nursing care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding and toileting
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team
    • Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement
  • Maintain Accurate Records
    • Document patient observations, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with company policies and procedures
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and treatment plans
  • Meet Quality and Safety Standards
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to patient safety and quality care
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Licensed as an LPN in the state of Florida
  • 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting
  • Current BLS certification
  • IV certification
