Job Title: Lead CCIE Route Switch Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead CCIE Route Switch Architect to join our team at Arganteal, Corp. as a 30-week full-time remote contract. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco's Network Services Orchestrator (NDFC) and its API, with real-world experience in both greenfield and brownfield environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network architectures using NDFC in both greenfield and brownfield settings.
  • Develop and integrate NDFC APIs to automate network provisioning, management, and migration processes.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of VXLAN EVPN protocols to enhance network scalability, flexibility, and performance.
  • Implement and manage VCP Border Gateway solutions for multi-site connectivity, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Apply best practices for NDFC functionality and behavior, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the team on complex network solutions and architectures.
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced network issues related to NDFC, VXLAN EVPN, and VCP BGW.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives and project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Valid CCIE Route Switch certification required.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with NDFC API, functionality, behavior, and best practices.
  • Proven experience using NDFC for both greenfield and brownfield migrations in live environments.
  • Extensive experience with VXLAN EVPN protocols in large-scale deployments.
  • Solid understanding and implementation experience of VCP BGW solutions for multi-site networks.
  • Strong background in network design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Previous experience in a Lead Consulting role delivering network solutions to clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
