We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the body, working under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
- Work under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Assess emergency situations accurately and think independently
- Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as necessary
- Produce superior quality imaging studies without constant supervision
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related profession
- ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire
- Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT or CCI required upon hire
- High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN
- 12 months previous experience in ultrasound

We are a 25+ bed critical access hospital located in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. We have been named a 100 Top Critical Access Hospital by Becker's Hospital Review and have achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
