Field Communications Specialist

We are seeking a talented Field Communications Specialist to join our team in Lancaster, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic communications systems.

Accountabilities:
  • System Installation and Support: Perform and coordinate installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communication equipment
  • Customer Interface: Professionally interface with customers to discuss work and convey system information
  • Sales Team Assistance: Assist the sales team as necessary to ensure competitive and accurate bid responses
  • Site Surveys: Conduct building site surveys to identify and confirm installation requirements
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from the bid process through sign-off, handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Meeting Coordination: Attend/conduct project meetings with installation or construction personnel and assist with scheduling and installation
  • Timeline Establishment: Work directly with customers to establish and publish a project timeline with a completion date
  • Progress Updates: Communicate project progress to customers and Company team members and coordinate project changes with the sales team
  • Customer Training: Provide training to customers or end-user personnel on operating and maintaining systems
  • On-Call Support: Provide effective "on-call" support

To be successful in this role, you should possess an Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 2 years of low voltage experience, excellent customer service skills, and a strong ability to work effectively as part of a team. Additionally, you should maintain industry-recognized technology credentials and have a clean driving record.
