Emory University is seeking a highly skilled Academic Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our team in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Musculoskeletal Division.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented radiologist with expertise in musculoskeletal imaging to contribute to our academic and clinical programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting imaging studies, conducting research, and educating residents and fellows in musculoskeletal imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiographs, to diagnose and manage musculoskeletal disorders
  • Conduct research in musculoskeletal imaging, including studies on imaging techniques, disease diagnosis, and treatment outcomes
  • Teach and mentor residents and fellows in musculoskeletal imaging, including didactic lectures, case presentations, and hands-on training
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees, including quality improvement and research initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments, including orthopedic surgery, neurology, and rheumatology, to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • ABR Board-certified/eligible in radiology
  • Subspecialty certification or eligibility in musculoskeletal radiology
  • Completion of a musculoskeletal fellowship at an accredited program
  • Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in standard interventional MSK procedures, including fluoroscopic/ultrasound guided joint injection/aspiration, CT and ultrasound guided biopsies, spine and peripheral nerve injections
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences
