Position Summary: We are seeking experienced Concrete Carpenters/Finishers/Rod Busters with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves working at various job sites, requiring flexibility and the ability to travel as needed.
Compensation: $28-$32 per hour, based on experience. Per diem may be available depending on job location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport and manage materials effectively.
- Prepare sites for concrete pouring by excavating and setting forms.
- Assist equipment operators with alignment and adjustments.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Interpret blueprints and follow oral instructions accurately.
- Adapt to various tasks as needed, including wall and foundation building.
- Manage water pumping operations as required.
- Collaborate with Field Engineers and Foremen to address project challenges.
- Perform rebar tying and set string lines for concrete forms.
- Execute concrete placement and finishing, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Apply floor toppings and finishes to achieve project specifications.
- Construct and set forms for various concrete structures according to technical drawings.
- Maintain knowledge of proper slopes and tolerances for concrete installations.
- Conduct patching, repairs, and restoration of concrete surfaces.
- Effectively use tools for grading, finishing, and joint tooling.
- Stay updated on the latest tools and equipment relevant to the trade.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to work at heights exceeding 10 feet.
- Exposure to high temperatures and noise levels.
- Frequent physical activity including walking, climbing, bending, and lifting over 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Must pass a Drug Test and Background Check.
- OSHA 10/30 Certification is preferred.
- Must provide basic tools for Concrete Carpentry/Finishing.
