Speech Language Pathologist - Des Plaines School Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Des Plaines, IL. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility for state licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
