RT Vent Clinician

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a skilled RT Vent Clinician to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care to Vent patients, ensuring optimal outcomes and a smooth transition to home settings.

• Provide respiratory care to Vent patients in alternate sites, adhering to AdaptHealth's policies and procedures.
• Utilize acquired knowledge to increase competencies and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
• Document procedures, patient files, and Plan of Treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with authorization for Ventilator referrals and participate in discharge planning.
• Perform clinical assessments, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a working knowledge of current HME products and services.
• Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and referral sources to ensure prompt attention to patient care issues.

• Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
• Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
• One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, and sit at a computer for extended periods. May be exposed to unsanitary conditions, high crime areas, and hazardous materials.
