Job Description

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced DSP Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our SIS Core Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and modeling algorithms, verifying their implementations, and analyzing their performance on a range of systems.

The selected candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create and manage various GDMS and client technologies. This position is Hybrid/Flex, where you will be on-site at least 3 days a week. While on-site, you will be part of the SIS DSP Core Engineering Team at Scottsdale, AZ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Signal processing architecture
  • Algorithm development
  • Systems requirements analysis
  • Performance verification and validation
  • Fixed point model conversion for hardware implementation
  • Software/hardware partitioning and trades
  • Hardware/software implementation collaboration
  • Hands-on system performance verification and validation in the lab
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), knowledge of MATLAB (or Python) for DSP using the related toolboxes
  • Preferred qualifications: Statistical Signal Processing, Multi-rate Signal Processing, Radar Processing, DSP for mitigating/processing RF effects
