Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Pediatric Center is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to oversee the educational development of children in our day program. The educator will engage closely with the children, facilitating daily lessons and fostering a nurturing learning atmosphere.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct children in fundamental skills such as recognizing colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
  • Provide individualized or group instruction based on children's needs and subject matter.
  • Design and implement a curriculum that promotes various aspects of child development.
  • Coordinate activities that allow children to explore their interests and develop essential skills.
  • Create schedules and routines to ensure children receive adequate physical activity and rest.
  • Monitor for signs of emotional or developmental issues in each child and communicate these to parents.
  • Document children's progress, routines, and interests, keeping parents informed about their development.
Qualifications:
  • Pre-K certification is required.
  • A teaching degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in a classroom setting with children.
