This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct children in fundamental skills such as recognizing colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
- Provide individualized or group instruction based on children's needs and subject matter.
- Design and implement a curriculum that promotes various aspects of child development.
- Coordinate activities that allow children to explore their interests and develop essential skills.
- Create schedules and routines to ensure children receive adequate physical activity and rest.
- Monitor for signs of emotional or developmental issues in each child and communicate these to parents.
- Document children's progress, routines, and interests, keeping parents informed about their development.
- Pre-K certification is required.
- A teaching degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in a classroom setting with children.
