Job Title: Plumber I

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plumber I to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals. As a Plumber I, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting mechanical controls for gas appliances and equipment, as well as maintaining and repairing sewage disposal equipment, grease traps, sewer piping, storm drains, and garbage disposals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and inspect mechanical controls for gas appliances and equipment.
• Maintain and repair sewage disposal equipment, grease traps, sewer piping, storm drains, and garbage disposals.
• Requisition parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Plumber I at the Department of State Hospitals, you will need to have a strong background in plumbing, with experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical controls and sewage disposal equipment. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
