Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform all responsibilities and duties required by the unit, as specific to the scope of service.
  • Implement procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.
  • Complete initial assessments upon patient admission and develop appropriate plans of care in accordance with unit standards and based on patient and family needs.
  • Implement plans of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures.
  • Modify plans of care based on continuous evaluation.
  • Take responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents.
  • Communicate with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues.
  • Offer constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers and confer with colleagues to expand knowledge base.
  • Identify own learning needs and take initiative to begin appropriate solutions.
  • Fulfill all requirements of departmental competencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state where the facility is located.
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
