Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Supervisor to join our team at American Eagle Outfitters. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical security, safety, and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage Asset Protection Associates and Contract Security personnel to ensure the security and safety of our stores.
  • Conduct internal audits to measure management's compliance with AEO, Inc. Asset Protection policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and investigate internal and external theft.
  • Collaborate with store management to provide security services, training, and investigative support.
  • Monitor security systems and alarms, and respond to incidents as needed.
  • Communicate security issues and concerns to Asset Protection Department leadership.
  • Participate in threat assessments and develop action plans to reduce vulnerability and impact the potential of security breaches.
  • Conduct Asset Protection seminars, workshops, and impromptu training classes to educate store management and associates on Asset Protection policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of store management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a multi-level environment.
  • Good problem-solving ability and a high sense of urgency.
