Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Health Specialist to join our dynamic team As a key member of our dental hygiene department, you will be responsible for promoting excellent oral health and preventing diseases through thorough examination, diagnosis, and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide personalized dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screening, radiographic studies, and charting conditions of decay and disease.
  • Treatment Room Preparation: Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are readily available and follow established protocols for infection control.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, healthy habits, and upcoming treatments to maintain their trust and confidence.
  • Instrument Maintenance: Properly sharpen, sterilize, and select instruments to ensure effective dental hygiene procedures.
  • Equipment Selection: Choose the right materials and equipment based on each patient's specific oral health needs.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Maintain current CPR certification, emergency supplies, and an updated directory of emergency contact numbers.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist License.
  • Certification: Hold certifications as required by state law or additional responsibilities.
  • Ongoing Training: Complete annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control.
