Position Overview:

We are looking for an Optometrist to become a vital member of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. This role involves delivering high-quality care as an independent healthcare provider while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes both general and specialty ophthalmologists.

Provide exceptional care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
Develop and implement educational opportunities for technical staff and residents.
Guide patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and treatment options.

Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum - Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited institution
Preferred - Completion of a one-year residency in post-optometry education

Experience:
Minimum - Five (5) years of clinical experience post-graduation
Preferred - Seven (7) years of relevant clinical practice

Licenses and Certifications:
State of Wisconsin Optometry License
CPR certification
