Facility Maintenance and Groundskeeping Associate

Position Overview:
As a vital member of the facilities team, you will undertake housekeeping and landscaping responsibilities for Family Solutions locations. This role is part-time, offering between 20 to 30 hours of work each week.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Execute general cleaning tasks, including sanitizing common areas, restrooms, windows, walls, and carpets. Duties also include mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, dusting, polishing furniture, and sweeping according to the established cleaning schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident and communal spaces as required.
- Safely dust furniture, baseboards, equipment, and other items.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of both occupied and vacant residential areas.
- Properly clean and store cleaning supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Restock essential supplies such as paper towels and hand soap as necessary.
- Regularly inspect work areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and sanitization standards.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Coordinator to maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Promptly communicate any items that need replacement or repair to the Facilities Coordinator.
- Ensure a safe environment by keeping hazardous chemicals or cleaning products out of reach at all times.
- Utilize appropriate supplies, equipment, and chemicals for all cleaning tasks, seeking assistance from the Facilities Coordinator when needed.
- Perform basic landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming bushes and trees, and watering plants.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Physical capability to meet the demands of daily tasks.
