About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures, including mammography, general radiology, and other modalities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety
  • Work closely with radiologists, clinicians, and other staff to ensure efficient coordination of activities and optimal quality control
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of imaging modalities, including mammography, CT, and MRI
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction
Requirements
  • United States citizenship
  • Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Radiography (ARRT) (R)
  • Advanced ARRT certification for assignments involving computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or mammography (M) duties
  • Completion of a full-time training course in diagnostic radiologic technology, evidenced by a certificate or associate degree from an accredited program
  • At least one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level directly related to the position being filled
