As a Tire Sales Specialist at BJ's Wholesale Club, you will be responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle sizes
- Properly install and repair tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing
- Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area
- Merchandise tire displays and automotive products
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk
- Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs
- Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory
- Comply with safety and cleanliness standards
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
- Prior tire installation experience preferred
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance
Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Most of the time is spent standing and moving about continuously on hard surfaces. Frequent need to bend, climb, crawl, kneel, push, pull, reach, move side to side, stoop, and climb ladders/step stools.
CompensationThe pay range for this position is $18.00-$22.50. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
