Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, install, configure, encrypt, and maintain databases using enterprise architectural standards.
  • Administer enterprise database systems, focusing on long-term operational planning and database performance.
  • Support and administer database infrastructure technologies, including Oracle database 10, 11g, 12c, and 19c.
  • Administer databases on AWS, including Redshift, PostgreSQL, Aurora, and RDS Oracle.
  • Perform instance and cluster provisioning, query optimization, and troubleshooting database issues.
  • Develop and implement data stewardship and accountability structures to ensure effective data management.
  • Resolve complex technical problems for all supported database platforms.
  • Partner with application and operations teams to deliver large or complex database projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience supporting and administering database infrastructure technologies.
  • 4 years of experience administering databases on AWS.
  • Experience with Oracle database 19c and advanced security features.
