Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team at Reser's. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing our weekly maintenance schedule, reviewing work requests/orders, and planning work through kitting of parts and creating accurate job plans.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a robust maintenance planning and scheduling business flow process through effective administration of a CMMS.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
- Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, departmental performance, planning, and scheduled business flow process.
- Schedule maintenance work into production plan.
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance tasks for production equipment based on OEM recommendations.
- Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
- Review applicable maintenance procedures to promote defect-free maintenance work quality.
- Responsible for upkeep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and jobs records database.
- Continually improve planning, scheduling, data management, and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate across departments to schedule manpower, resources, and asset availability for planned maintenance work.
- High regard for safe work practices and procedures.
- High School diploma required.
- 3 years of working experience in maintenance planning preferred.
- Manufacturing and maintenance background with basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, controls systems, boilers, welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Prior CMMS administration experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel and CMMS software and report writing skills.
- Ability to apply knowledge of standards, methods, and procedures to work situation.
- Strong project management skills including organization, time management, attention to detail, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and effectively while being a team player.
- Willing to work extended hours to achieve tight deadlines.
This role will be based in a warehouse and production environment with temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F. Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities, as well as repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 50 lbs., are required. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
