Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Schneck Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for exams, and capturing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning them for optimal image capture
- Capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, using techniques such as Doppler and spectral Doppler
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed
- Graduation from an accredited program of Radiologic Technology and/or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Ultrasound Tech by ARDMS or other accrediting agency, or Registry eligible after completion of Ultrasound program or by completing one year experience in Ultrasound by cross training and completing competencies
- CPR certification
- At least one year of experience working in a healthcare setting in Ultrasound, preferred
- Competitive hourly rate, starting at $30.57/hour
- Eligibility for Weekend Option rate of $10.00/hour
- Eligibility for Sign-On bonus of $7,500
