Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and administering occupational therapy services to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services as prescribed by the physician, adhering to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations, and state laws.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, defining occupational therapy needs, goals, and expected outcomes in conjunction with the referring physician's Plan of Treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, physicians, nurses, and family members to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Administer care to ensure patient safety, staying updated on the patient's clinical condition, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in patient case conferences, attend in-services as indicated, and serve as a resource consultant for clinical staff.
  • Supervise other personnel (COTA, HHA) when required, and provide written evaluations of patient progress on a weekly basis or as ordered.
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapy Master's Degree from an accredited university/program.
  • Current and unrestricted license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
