We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse employees, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Manage inventory levels, tracking stock movements and reporting discrepancies as necessary.
* Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, distribution centers, and external partners.
* Collaborate with HR to develop and implement training programs for warehouse staff, focusing on skills development and job-specific knowledge.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, such as OSHA regulations and environmental guidelines.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying new ideas and strategies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a warehouse or logistics environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff
* Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing productivity
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Bi-lingual skills an asset but not required
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan matching.
