Senior Chemist - Product Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemist to lead our product development efforts in the industrial detergent chemistry space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products and improving existing ones.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of industrial detergent chemistry principles, research, and techniques. You will be responsible for leading product development projects, creating patentable products, and developing quality control testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead product development projects, creating innovative and patentable products
  • Design and implement quality control testing procedures using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry techniques
  • Provide detailed lab reports on product development and other assigned projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and commercialization
  • Maintain laboratory and corporate records
  • Support sales efforts in the field
  • Ensure a safe and compliant laboratory environment
  • Work on additional projects as assigned
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemist with a strong background in industrial detergent chemistry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced knowledge of chemistry principles, research, and techniques
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • High level of analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical chemistry skills and experience with analytical equipment
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with experience in creating detailed lab reports and other technical documents, as well as experience with intervention chemistries in the food processing industry.
