Senior Mechanical Engineer - Project Manager

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Butterfly Staffing, you will play a pivotal role in our Leadership team. Your responsibilities will include leading and overseeing the mechanical engineering staff/team, monitoring engineering expenditures, product costs, and project timelines, and innovating and proposing novel concepts to enhance engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the mechanical engineering staff/team
Monitor engineering expenditures, product costs, and project timelines
Innovate and propose novel concepts to enhance engineering operations
Evaluate facility conditions, assess HVAC, plumbing, and control system designs for smart buildings
Scrutinize specifications, troubleshoot HVAC systems and controls, and provide mechanical design engineering
Generate mechanical design calculations, specifications, and drawings for projects
Conduct on-site surveys to evaluate the condition of existing equipment
Strategically plan work, coordinate project concepts, criteria, and goals to minimize changes and corrections
Compile comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly project reports, organize and strategize projects, and formulate accurate cost estimates
Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) checks to ensure adherence to all applicable criteria, codes, and regulations
Manage multiple tasks concurrently, showcasing leadership through the incorporation of innovative concepts, technology, and designs

Requirements:
Possess at least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university
Accumulate a minimum of 10+ years of mechanical design experience
Hold registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Demonstrate proficiency in the design of HVAC and control systems
Showcase expertise in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit
Exhibit robust organizational skills
Deliver compelling verbal presentations with excellent communication skills
