The Welder/Service Technician will engage in welding, assembly, and upkeep of industrial machinery and tools. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair machine components, tools, and equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems on industrial machinery.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to devise solutions for equipment modifications and upgrades.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Document work performed, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide technical support and training to fellow team members as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in welding and mechanical service within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with fabrication, machining, and assembly of metal components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends as required.
