- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and facility regulations, maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
- Staff Supervision and Education: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Education: Associate's degree from an accredited university in nursing or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in geriatric care is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of this population.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure from the State of Michigan, with CPR and current BLS certification.
- Skills: Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, with strong computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
