Radiologic Technologist

DEPARTMENT:
Medical Unit

STATUS:
Part-Time, Exempt

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to become a part of our dedicated team. Your role will be crucial in delivering exceptional patient care through the execution of diagnostic radiographic procedures. You will work closely with the radiology and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct radiographic examinations on patients as per physician directives.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, guiding them to appropriate areas and providing necessary instructions.
  • Clarify procedures and monitor patients to guarantee their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Ensure optimal patient positioning for clear and precise imaging results.
  • Operate radiologic equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and infection control protocols diligently.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both patients and team members.
  • Manage documentation tasks, including maintaining and updating patient records after each visit.
  • Ensure the functionality of radiologic equipment and report any issues to the Practice Manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Capacity to work with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in customer service principles.
  • Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
