About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare's Alta View Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our surgical procedures by maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room and all surgical equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining sterility.
  • Participate in the surgical team's efforts to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies to provide the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
