Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct maintenance and repairs on a variety of customer vehicles.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Communicate automotive repairs and concerns effectively while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Plan and execute repair procedures based on technical manuals and personal expertise.
- Test the functionality of various parts and systems.
- Perform essential auto care tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Replace and repair components such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
- Engage in routine maintenance and general mechanical work.
- Be prepared to pursue additional certifications as necessary.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn through hands-on training.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized repair shop.
- Uphold a professional appearance at all times.
- Prior experience in automotive and engine repair or completion of auto mechanic training is required.
- ASE certifications are preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is necessary.
- Completion of an associate degree program in automotive maintenance and repair is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide friendly service to customers.
- Capable of reading, interpreting, and accurately recording data.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience as a lube technician is beneficial, or willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment is essential.
- Experience with heavy equipment and diesel mechanics is advantageous, or readiness for on-the-job training.
- Good hand-eye coordination is necessary.
