Dedicated Sign Language Interpreter Wanted for School Setting

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sign Language Interpreter to join a supportive school district in Washington.
We are offering a competitive salary of $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our interpreter will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication in the classroom and school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation for students in a school setting, including classroom instruction, meetings, and events.
- Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and staff, creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Assist students with interpreting verbal communication during lessons, group discussions, and activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure that students' communication needs are met.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (RID, EIPA, or equivalent).
- Previous experience interpreting in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.
