Physical Therapist Per Diem Opportunity

Qualicare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, promoting physical function, and enhancing overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to a diverse range of patients
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical impairments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Utilize a range of evidence-based techniques, including trigger point therapy, to address patient needs
- Implement and monitor patient treatment plans, adjusting as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with the latest developments in physical therapy, including orthopedics, hospital medicine, and anatomy knowledge
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and educate patients and their families on disease processes and treatment options
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Minimum one year experience in a home healthcare setting
- One-year experience in geriatric care, preferred
- Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting
- Ability to provide patient care in a variety of settings, including home community care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy and other physical therapy modalities
- A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development
