Position Overview:
The Security Generalist is responsible for managing and overseeing the processes related to the maintenance of firm and governmental records, ensuring that employees can acquire and uphold necessary government security clearances. This role requires the application of specialized knowledge to adhere to established rules, regulations, and procedures concerning access to classified information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer government security protocols, including personnel security (PERSEC), information security (INFOSEC), and industrial security (INDUSEC) within a Department of Defense (DoD) context.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the DoD Personnel Security Program, including the pertinent rules and regulations governing individual access to classified materials.
- Utilize knowledge of the Army, DoD, and the intelligence community to initiate personnel security actions, coordinate security investigations, and monitor the progress of various personnel security cases.
- Effectively communicate factual information in both written and verbal formats, ensuring clarity and conciseness.
- Possess the capability to obtain a security clearance.
- Hold a high school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the mission, functions, and activities within the DoD 5000 framework to provide guidance on personnel security needs.
- Possession of a Secret clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
Clearance Requirements:
Candidates selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

The salary for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $54,000.00 and $123,000.00 annually. This range represents the typical salary for this position and is part of Booz Allen's overall compensation strategy.
Work Environment:
Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this role is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site. If the position is onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person as required.
