About the Role:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Imaging: Operate MRI scanners to produce images of the patient's body, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
  • Patient Preparation: Screen patients before exams, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging.
  • Procedure Execution: Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, adjusting scan parameters as needed, and providing patient support throughout the process.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and disinfect equipment after each use, ensuring it remains in good working order.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all HIPAA guidelines and ACR toolkit requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, software upgrades, and medical supply inventory.
  • Training and Development: Provide resource and technical expertise to new associates, as applicable.
