About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to our patients with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with other specialists as required.
  • Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments as per policy.
  • Use triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients.
  • Accurately assign triage categories.

Requirements:

  • Current NV nursing license
  • Current ACLS & BLS certificate
  • PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment)
  • At least 2.5 years of ER experience required
