Dispensary Technician Job Description

The Dispensary Technician plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care at The Cannabist Company. This position works closely with Pharmacists to ensure seamless prescription fulfillment and patient satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and resolve issues in the prescription fulfillment process.
  • Promote and maintain the dispensary's professional reputation.
  • Assist Pharmacists in filling prescription items and labeling products.
  • Input patient data and medication orders into the POS system.
  • Enter prescription data into VA State's software.
  • Provide exceptional patient and customer service in a retail dispensary environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • One year of experience working as a pharmacy technician.
  • Broad range of pharmacy techniques and practices, such as compounding.
  • Customer-facing experience a strong plus.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification required.
