Job Summary

MedAdventures is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at one of our largest Skilled Nursing Facility partners in the Fredericksburg, VA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals.
  • Screen and evaluate all residents to determine need for Occupational Therapy.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with facility staff, caregivers, family members, and residents.
  • Complete all documentation as required by the fiscal intermediary, within the designated time frame.
  • Implement and monitor the treatment program based on evaluative results.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Current and valid license granted from state of employment.
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
  • Active and up-to-date OTR status.
