We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant/Care Coordinator to join our team at Armina Health in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, offering a unique blend of front office and back office responsibilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to our orthopedic physician assistant and surgeon. Key responsibilities include scheduling referrals, maintaining accurate patient files, communicating effectively with referring providers, and coordinating transportation for patients as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical assistant certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or orthopedic setting preferred
  • Strong skills in medical records management and patient scheduling
  • Proficiency in EMA and Salesforce, and other EMR/EHR systems (training provided)
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under time constraints
  • Familiarity with lien-based healthcare coordination a plus
