Position Overview

As an integral member of our healthcare team, the Oncology RN Patient Advocate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients diagnosed with cancer. This position operates under general supervision, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to the unique needs of oncology patients, recognizing the physiological, psychological, and developmental variations across different age groups.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all services align with the mission and core values of LifeBridge Health.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient education and support, guiding patients and their families through treatment processes.

Qualifications
  • Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 4-7 years of experience in Oncology Nursing, with a preference for outpatient care settings.
  • Current CPR certification from AHA Healthcare Provider.
  • Certification in ONS - Chemotherapy and Biotherapy.
  • Active RN licensure and OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse credential.
