Salary and Benefits

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $130,000, commensurate with their level of experience. In addition to the base salary, they will also receive 3 weeks' vacation, floating holidays, 10 paid holidays, and comprehensive medical benefits through BCBS.

Job Description

This senior role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in manufacturing process improvement, automation implementation, and Lean initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills. Their primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and improving processes in a machine shop and assembly environment
  • Troubleshooting production issues of mechanical and electrical nature
  • Designing and implementing automation solutions for cost reduction and quality enhancement
  • Driving shop floor continuous improvement through Lean-minded process improvements and cross-functional kaizen events
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in machining and assembly processes
  • Associates Degree or higher education in a technical science or engineering field
  • Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies or demonstrated experience with process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to write work instructions and create documentation for troubleshooting equipment/machinery
  • Experience communicating directly with outside vendors and processors
